From Lake Shore Drive (U.S. 41), turn onto Irving Park Road west. Take Irving Park Road to Clark Street and turn left (south). Wrigley Field lies ahead on the left. If traffic is heavy on Lake Shore Drive, take Broadway or Clark Street to Addison Street. |

From the freeways, take I-90/94 to the Addison Street exit and turn right (east). Wrigley Field lies three miles to the east of the freeway via Addison Street. As an alternate roue use Interstate 90/94 to the Irving Park Road exit and travel east to Clark Street south for Wrigley Field. |

Notes:
After missing the playoffs last year, the Cubs return without RF Sammy Sosa and LF Moises Alou, who combined for 74 homers and 186 RBI in 2004. They plan to compensate by being more athletic and better defensively. They're counting on a full season from SS Nomar Garciaparra. 3B Aramis Ramirez, who batted .318 with a career-high 36 home runs and 103 RBI last year, and 1B Derrek Lee add to a potent infield. 2B Todd Walker, C Michael Barrett and CF Corey Patterson are other returning starters. Jeromy Burnitz, signed as a free agent, is expected to replace Sosa in right. Starting pitching is still the team's strength. RHPs Kerry Wood, Mark Prior and Carlos Zambrano each throw with power, and four-time Cy Young winner Greg Maddux is the master at deception. |
