Seventh Street, Fourth Street, Jefferson Street, and the Southern Pacific Railroad tracks in downtown Phoenix. Use Interstate 10 Exit 145 to 7th Street south or Interstate 17 to 7th Street north (Exit 195B) to reach the stadium. |

Notes:
After a 111-loss season, the D'backs got busy. They signed 3B Troy Glaus, RHP Russ Ortiz, LHP Shawn Estes, SS Royce Clayton, 2B Craig Counsell and 1B Tony Clark and traded for RHP Javier Vazquez and OFs Shawn Green and Jose Cruz Jr. The biggest move was dealing five-time Cy Young winner Randy Johnson to the Yankees. Vazquez, acquired in that trade, joins Ortiz, Estes and the lone holdover from last year, RHP Brandon Webb, to form a deeper rotation. Glaus allows second-year man Chad Tracy to move from third base to first, where the veteran Clark will back him up. Green fills a hole in right, and Cruz answers the need for center fielder. |
