San Gabriel Mountains. The grass field was rated the best by MLB players in 2003 and new amenities bring the fan experience to the level of other parks. |

The most direct route into Dodger Stadium is to take California 110 (Pasadena Fwy). to the Dodger Stadium exit directly into the parking areas. From the northwest, take U.S. 101 (Hollywood Fwy.) south to the Alvarado Street exit and turn left (north). Take Alvarado north to Sunset Blvd. east (right) to Elysian Park Ave. east (left) into Dodger Stadium. |
| From Interstate 5 south (Golden State Fwy.), depart at the Stadium Way exit and turn left onto the road southbound. Follow Stadium Way to Academy Road and turn left for the stadium From I-5 north, take the Stadium Way exit onto Riverside Drive north (turn left). Take Riverside Drive to Stadium Way south (turn left) and follow it to Academy Road. |

Notes:
SS Cesar Izturis and CF Milton Bradley are the only holdovers from last year's opening-day lineup. The defense and offense took hits with the departures of 3B Adrian Beltre, CF Steve Finley and 2B Alex Cora. The offense got a boost with the signings of 2B Jeff Kent, OF J.D. Drew and 3B Jose Valentin. LHP Odalis Perez and RHPs Brad Penny, Jeff Weaver and free agent signee Derek Lowe give certainty to the rotation. Closer Eric Gagne and setup man Yhency Brazoban lead a deep bullpen. Journeyman C Paul Bako was signed as a stopgap starter; Dioner Navarro, acquired from Arizona in the Shawn Green trade, is the catcher of the future. |
