In a season full of disappointments, Lubomir Visnovsky wasn't one. The blueliner led the Kings in scoring with 67 points. L.A.'s power play was the third-worst in the NHL and wouldn't even have been that good
without him.
Visnovsky gets the nod, but Mattias Norstrom deserves recognition. Norstrom's strong skating and intelligent positioning allowed him to effectively adjust to the obstruction rules and score a career-high 27 points.
Goalie Jason LaBarbera leveled off in mid-season after a hot start, in part because of a health issue involving a loved one. He finished with a 2.89 goals-against average in 29 games and gave the Kings hope for the future.
Right winger Michael Cammalleri, 24, emerged as an offensive threat in his first full NHL season. He netted 26 goals, second most to Mark Parrish's 29.
