Brad Richards was awarded the richest contract in Lightning history shortly after the season - and for good reason. He set a career mark with 91 points and a team record 69 assists. He established himself as the team's best and most consistent performer.
Dan Boyle established himself as a true No. 1 defenseman. He logged more than 23 minutes a game, scored 53 points and played well defensively despite facing the league's biggest and most physical forwards.
Forward Ryan Craig played only a half a season, but was ninth in team scoring, notching 15 goals (including six power play markers) in 43 games.
Tim Taylor isn't much of a scorer or playmaker and he isn't big or physical. But Taylor's work defensively, in the faceoff circle and in the dressing room make him invaluable in Tampa Bay.
